‘South by South Wales’ (SXSWales) is a festival put on by BA Hons Creative Music technology students at the University of South Wales from the 8th to the 12th of May 2019.
It featured 8 events, with an additional drum and bass partner event separate from the main festival. These were all of different formats and styles, spread across different venues in Cardiff, including club nights, live bands and even sound art installations.

Nostalgia:
Nostalgia was a night of Chip Tunes and Lofi Hiphop performed by two local artists. It also featured a video game showcase, serving as an opportunity for the creators to get valuable feedback from the public on their unreleased game.

This event featured many sound art installations along side fiction and poetry readings. It served as an opportunity to showcase both old and new work and to facilitate a couple of students getting assessed on one of their projects.
